Chris and Lindsay are an energetic vibrant couple in their late 20s who love God and serve Him with all their hearts. Chris has used his creative and musical talents by taking active roles in producing many worship projects for prominent Christian artists and worship leaders. He has served the Body of Christ by working as a sound engineer in large churches in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and Orlando. He has trained many worship leaders by teaching classes at Christ for the Nations Institute, giving the next generation skills they need to succeed.
On March 31, 2009, Chris was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, adenoid cystic carcinoma stage 4, which had spread from his neck to his lungs, back and pelvis. The cancer in his back, which threatened his spinal chord and, potentially, his ability to walk, has been surgically removed. But the malignant growths elsewhere still remain.
Two major challenges lie ahead for Chris and Lindsay: paying the extremely high medical costs for the surgeries and treatment thus far (as well as that to come), and finding the right plan of attack to eliminate the cancer that still remains. This particular cancer is not simple to fight (it does not respond to conventional treatment) and will require the absolute highest level of care.
This website is an invitation to get involved. Much of the financial obligations can be eliminated if those who know Chris or even have heard his story get involved. Whether you’re able to give $10, $100, $1,000, or much more, please consider how you might come to the aid of an extraordinary young man as he faces the fight of his life.
